FAQs for medical MJ cards in Louisiana
How much does it cost?
For a limited time, it costs $139 to see a HelloMD practitioner online and receive your medical MJ recommendation. Then you must pay a $75 state registration fee. We accept all major credit cards.
How long does it take?
A typical consultation takes between 15 – 30 minutes.
Please be prepared to have your consult in a private, well-lit space, away from distraction. Your doctor will also want to discuss any medications you may be on and your prior medical history.
What do I do if I'm approved?
Once your doctor approves your medical MJ certification, a letter of recommendation requests that you be added to the state’s patient registry. The state-licensed dispensary you designate will receive the doctor’s certificate of recommendation (which will be checked against the state registry), at which time you can buy legal medical MJ.
A physical medical MJ card is not required in Louisiana.
